Emory University has begun a comprehensive $1.6 billion campaign to realize its commitment to a better world.
Campaign Emory is designed to strengthen Emory’s faculty and students, create and bolster programs, and build facilities to provide the best possible educational and research environment. These goals will propel Emory to a new level of leadership among the nation’s foremost research universities in education, in research, and in impact on the world.
Campaign Emory fuels the five major themes of Emory’s strategic plan: strengthening faculty distinction, preparing engaged scholars, creating community and engaging society, confronting the human condition, and exploring new frontiers in science and technology. These focus Emory’s attention and resources on communities at home and abroad, wherever there is need.
Emory is committed to using knowledge to improve human well-being and create a better world. The Institute for Developing Nations connects Emory faculty and students with in-country NGOs, scholars, experts, and policy-makers to research pressing international development and human rights problems. Campaign Emory will help build these action-oriented research partnerships, recruit faculty with development expertise, provide international learning opportunities for the Emory community, and extend the University’s reach as a leading global institution.
