Students

As part of our mission to re-imagine development, IDN looks for ways to engage the next generation of researchers. Some students may overlook international development because their field of study has not traditionally been engaged with it. Or they might not think research is the right avenue for them because they prefer to be involved in hands-on work.

We want to change the way students from across the university think about international development by raising awareness through campus events and helping them get involved in the research communities we are establishing with Emory faculty , NGOs, policy makers and in-country experts. IDN also offers scholarships to undergraduates who want to combine a semester abroad with an international development research project.
